Executive interim management firm and CBI raise awareness of new business performance tool

BIE, the UK’s leading specialist provider of senior level executive interim management, has announced that following the success of their co-sponsored executive interim management seminar with the CBI which took place in London, they will be holding another similar event later in the year.
CBI and BIE joined forces in July to host the first executive interim management event at the CBI headquarters to inform businesses of the benefits of using interim executives to improve business performance. The event was attended by over 50 delegates from a wide-raging business background and was extremely well received. Research house MORI’s MD, Mike Everett, discussed his experiences of using an interim IT Director and Finance Director; Martin Wood, MD of BIE Interim Executive, explained this relatively new industry; and participants had the opportunity to question a panel of experts.
Susan Anderson, Director of HR Policy at the CBI comments: "As an emerging business tool, it's important to inform the business community of what executive interim management is and how to apply it successfully. Our joint seminar in London was a welcome opportunity to educate CBI members and their favourable response has encouraged us to stage similar events in the near future."
