We believe that BIE provides a unique approach to interim management. It is an approach that is based on a deep understanding of our clients’ needs and personal knowledge of several hundred top level interim managers - an understanding that can only come from years of experience.

Not only is our approach unique, it is also a personal one. This starts from the moment you contact us and continues through every step of the process and even after the assignment has ended:

  • We prefer to take the brief in person. This means we can be on hand to offer help and advice and ensure that the brief is ‘right first time’, essential when timings are tight.
  • The BIE team of consultants discuss your requirements and, drawing on their personal and extensive knowledge of relevant executives, select the most appropriate candidates for the position, both in terms of skill and personality.
  • To help us do this quickly and effectively, we have built up a genebank of several hundred personally screened candidates, many of whom work exclusively for BIE.
  • The suitable candidates are selected by us and we ascertain their availability and discuss the role with them.
  • Details of the final 2 or 3 candidates are forwarded to you and, with your approval, interviews are arranged.
  • BIE will attend the interviews and assist you in the selection process — but of course the final decision will be yours.
  • The best candidate is accepted and terms are agreed with BIE. We also insist that all candidates sign a confidentiality agreement prior to being briefed on any assignment.
  • During the assignment, we keep in contact with both you and your interim to make sure everything is fine.
  • Once the interim management assignment is over we will also contact you to get your feedback and comments.

We feel it is this high level of personal input that enables us to fulfil our briefs so rapidly - we anticipate a turnaround time of within 10 days — and successfully.
